Are you into vampires? How about lesbian vampires? How about lesbian vampires in a super cool band?! I know I’m into that, and A Gift of Death handed me everything I wanted on a silver platter.

We follow our friend Cameron, a high school dude who just can’t get a break in life. He loves heavy metal and all things dark and spooky, and just wants to find a place he fits in.

Sarin, Vee-Exx and Arsenic are in a metal band, they travel the country spewing coke lyrics at adoring fans. But there’s something more to their allure, and it draws Cameron in.

We also have a couple of private eyes, on the case of killers unknown. Eventually all of their paths merge together in a brilliant, gory finale!

I loved this book, Daniel Volpe is a master splatter writer and has such amazing story building. If you haven’t read this book yet it’s definitely time. Twilight ain’t got nothing on this vamp story!

Daniel Volpe does it again! Another one of his creations I’m obsessed with. Metal, horror and vampires? Yes please! I read this book in one sitting and absolutely loved it from start to finish. I have no clue how he comes up with some of his books but he’s become one of my favorites. Solid 10/10!
