A large part of this volume is about an inappropriate relationship dynamic that the uncle undertakes while he was a pottery class instructor. Keep that in mind

"My spine froze because I realised that my guilt may have been the one thing keeping me alive."

Goodnight Punpun volumes three and four smartly expand the focus of the story by spending less time solely with Punpun, and more with the supporting cast. As Punpun ages, the story has become much darker- it's still a very enjoyable read albeit much heavier.
I will definitely continue reading the series.

I don't know. It felt better than the first volume, but that is a non-achievement. I think that it is weird that this is suddently about Punpun and his uncle, but maybe the writer just started to run out of ideas. I just hope it will be better later.

Title:

Page 416 (yeah, even tho it is volume 2 of omnibus)

Notes:

We love it when men decide for women who they should be with.

The objectification of women truly never stops here, huh.

If you wonder why this is tagged for racism, the same black character is used whenever there is just a random person, who appears on the screen if they are not just a blank space.

i'm not sure if i can say i like this volume because it was extremely triggering, but if yuichi's backstory hadn't gone into detail i probably would've liked it more. the contents aren't overly detailed in a way that turns it into torture porn but still. please read content warnings beforehand.
