if you like challenging books, then boy is this the book for you! it felt like a chore, but only because it required a certain level of attention that i don’t often possess. the snippets of observations and anecdotes as opposed to a traditional plot or narrative flow, was really ahead of its time as it mirrors a twitter feed. lots of great prose and words to learn.

Beautiful, brilliant, so very clever and strangely heartfelt. But not for me. Her writing blows me away but the story roulette gets me walking.

A cross between [a:Joan Didion|238|Joan Didion|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1335450818p2/238.jpg] and [a:Patti Smith|196092|Patti Smith|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1443733105p2/196092.jpg]. Loved it, in all its plotless glory.

This is the first book in my life that I couldn't finish. Got up to 62% and just wondered "why?". I'm done.

Irgendwie war der Schreibstil so sprunghaft, dass ich keinen roten Faden finden konnte.
