Re-read. The introduction of Mrs. Kettle and Dagbert, so I know I'll see even better plots moving forward. Because of that flasback/travelling scene with Feromel, I was obsessed for years with hiding things in a fireplace. Which must have been strange for my parents because we didn't have a fireplace.

I think this was an interesting installment. I’m pretty sure I stopped reading this series before this book came out so it was definitely a new story for me. What was frustrated for me though were some of the characters. They really just got on my nerves but at the same time you could tell many of them were still acting like no normal kids so I can’t hold too much against this book for that. I think one of the biggest things I appreciate most about this series is how involved the adults are. They don’t just let the kids go off and do whatever. They make an effort to protect them and help solve the problems. Even with the ending of this book, I’m still not sure what we’re building up to or what the final big moments are going to be.

Its fun to see the grand climax for the series starting to happen as the two sides take shape. There were some random details/history in this story that seemed a bit out of the blue, but another fun magical adventure for the gang nonetheless.

This was a re-read that held up for me as an adult. It’s definitely an amazing tale of friendship and bravery. It shows that no matter whose side your on there is always someone willing to help you.

I really liked it, the story was great and the new characters were really interesting and I got really freaked out when So-and-So lost his endowment and there were lots of nice plot twists. I was kind of sad when it said that Lysander had a girlfriend because I was like mentally dating him or whatever, but anyway...It was also really cute when it starts to talk about them having little crushes on each other because it makes them seem more like real kids :) And also reinforces the fact that I really really like it when there's a romantic subplot, even if it's really small.

Things are getting interesting .. I chose this series to complete my Goodreads challenge of 2015 and it hasn't disappointed me.
