As beautiful as this book is on the outside, it absolutely holds up upon reading!! An at-times over my head discussion of consciousness and its various forms with multiple perspectives following seemingly unconnected plots that come together at the enddddd?! Ugh. Love.

I loved it, I haven’t read a book this strange in a long time. I felt often like it was talking directly to me. It wasn’t flawless, but for what it accomplished I think it was close enough to it. The science stuff was really interesting, the environmentalism was beautiful. The philosophical parts were good too, sometimes profound, although I think it did get a bit heavy handed and repetitive around the 3/4 mark. Overall fantastic book! I really recommend it. 🐒 🐙 🦑 🔬 💸
