אוקיי אני חושבת שקראתי את הספר בזמן ממש טוב ויכול להיות שהייתי אוהבת פחות בזמן אחר. למרות זאת עדיין היו הרבה דברים שלא כל כך אהבתי ויכול להיות שאני אוריד את הדירוג. הדבר שהכי אהבתי היה הדמויות כי הן באמת היו דיי שונות מהרבה אחרות שקראתי בספרים אחרים, רק בזמן שקראתי הבנתי שבאמת לא קראתי על דברים כאלה בעבר.
ועכשיו אני מוסיפה משהו שכתבתי כשהייתי עצבנית על הספר (פשוט שיהיה לי גם פה)

עכשיו למה שבאמת רציתי לכתוב, הנקודות מבט בספר מרגישות לי כיאלו המישהו האחר כותב אותם כי הם נורא מתמקדיםבעצמם. ב pov של סטיבי אני מרגישה שזנדרס כותב אותם כי היא מתארת את עצמה ואת איך שהיא נראת מבחוץ באופןשלא מרגיש לי תואם למישהו שחושב על עצמו לא יודעת.
טיפה נמאס לי מספרים שהרקע של הדמויות הראשיות, והמשפחה שלהם, דיי לא מציאותיים ולא תואמים לדברים שעברתיאו שאנשים אחרים שאני מכירה עברו. פשוט מרגיש שבכל ספר יש לדמות הראשית איזה סיפור עצוב מפעם שהוא צריךלהתגבר עליו ואף פעם לא את הקשיים הקטנים יותר של משפחה יותר רגילה.
הדמויות פה ממש מרגישות שהן הורכבו אחד בשביל השני (כנראה מה שקרה) וגם זה מרגיש לא מאוד מציאותי. שתיהדמויות הראשיות משלימות אחד את השני בדיוק בחלקים שחסרים להם באופן שמרגיש לי ספציפי מדי, כיאלו מישהו ממשכתב וחשב עליהם (מה שקרה😅).
מרגיש לי שיכלו כל כך בקלות להוסיף דברים חשובים לעלילה שהיו מעלים אותה ברמות
גם מרגיש לי (כמו בעוד הרבה ספרים) שהcharacter development לא מתואר מספיק טוב וזו התקדמות פשוט מנקודהלנקודה בלי הסבר טוב לאיך. בלי קשר שהפסיכולוג של זאנדרס נראלי גרוע אם הוא לא הצליח ללמד אותו דברים במשךעשור שסטיבי תוך רגע הראתה לו.

You know that moment in life when you realize you found your endgame, ultimate love of your life type person? Yea, me neither.. But let me tell you, if Zee was a real life person? He'd be it.
This book had my attention from cover to cover! From the feisty banter, to the sexual tension, to the emotional openness between the MCs. It was so beautifully written, I could NOT put it down. This was very much a giggle and kick my feet in the air type romance.
Zee is such a player, douchebag at the start. And when Stevie doesn't fall to her knees drooling over him at their first interaction, but actually bit back and called him on his shit.. you cannot convince me that he didn't start falling for her right then on that plane. I mean.. their love language is literally talking shit lol
The mental health rep is this story gut punches you. Zee has a pretty friggin toxic relationship with his mom and an emotionally intense relationship with his dad. But he took all those negative emotions, and as a kid, went to therapy to work through it. When it worked out so well for him, he co-founded the Active Minds foundation to make sure no one ever felt that same stigma around getting help.
Our feisty, gorgeous, wild Stevie girl has struggles of her own behind closed doors. I related so hard with Stevie's struggles with her weight and her body image. Her ex, her old friends, and even her own mother, just put her down every chance they got and babe.. it was fucking heartbreaking.
But Zee Daddy Zanders.. He comes in at a really vulnerable moment for her and takes a wrecking ball to that WHOLE construct. That scene in the bathroom.... OMFG. I would marry him on the spot. I was so drunk on love for that ENTIRE chapter that I would've done ANY DAMN THING that man asked of me.
Zee Daddy Zanders is obviously 100/10 stars.
Look.. I could go on and on and on for DAAAAAYYYYSSS about how perfect this book was, but all I gotta say is PLEASE go read it.
