Not enough information

I don’t feel there is enough information in this novella and it takes too long from the start of it to find out who the main character is.

Review - I didn't enjoy this short story companion to the Six Tudor Queens series as much as [b:The Grandmother's Tale|36571688|The Grandmother's Tale (Six Tudor Queens #3.5)|Alison Weir|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1510345698s/36571688.jpg|58312317] as I didn't feel it added much to the story. Although Margery was an interesting character, I didn't think that her story added anything as it seemed a little rushed in places - it might have been better as a longer story. Nevertheless, the portrayal of Henry VIII and Katherine of Aragon seems to play out their relationship as we know it, and it was interesting to see what Katherine's dedicated servants might have thought of Henry VIII's treatment of her.

Genre? - Novella / Historical

Characters? - Margery Otwell / Elizabeth Otwell / Eliza Darrell / Katherine of Aragon / Henry VIII

Setting? - London & Kimbolton (England)

Series? - Six Tudor Queens #1.5

Recommend? – Maybe

Rating - 15/20

I don't know what's more obnoxious:

1. Alison's grim determination to race through these stories for no apparent reason;
2. Margery's sudden and inexplicable death in order to have a means to end the story; or
3. Refusing to identify Margery's lover.

"Not at this point", Alison says.

The series is over and you never said, unless it was in one of the three short stories I haven't read. So...first of never, eh?
