The story started out on a bad note, with Terra demonstrating multiple times her poor leadership skills and lack of strength. The whole fake pack princess gambit not only was distasteful, it made absolutely no sense. The remainder of the book was a succession of more poor judgment, senseless actions, and bad consequences.

All in all, a most dissatisfying story after the more promising first book in the series.

This was a quick read and a good conclusion to Terra's rise to pack leader. But now that she and Wolfie are back together, how are they both going to lead? Hmmm...

The intro of Ember was a sweet surprise. It will be interesting seeing Wolfie and Terra become parents now as well a pack leaders. I'm sure we haven't seen the last of Justin or Sarah.
