Actual Rating: 3.5
This really had a lot going for it until about halfway through the book. Her stalking case that the fixer takes on wraps up far too quickly then you’re left with him off on another case and them having this slightly awkward phone pal relationship of them getting to know each other

I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to continue on in the series. I loved Aven and Quin as well as all the other characters at the company we meet. I think this was a really good introduction book to the series because it laid a lot of ground work for the characters we'll follow in the upcoming books. I really liked Aven and Quin together and how easy their chemistry felt - especially given the circumstances of their meeting. I do wish we had gotten a little more of their relationship once they got together, especially since it is mentioned that one of the other members of the team always gets broken up with because his girlfriends can't handle his schedule and him being gone so much.
