It wasn’t all that interesting in the beginning, but it got way better and actually has me looking forward to the next book.

The one where there's an orgy party! Dan thinks he might be gay- and Rufus tells him that he has also slept with men and Dan's mom sends him a giant dildo .

This is by far my favorite Gossip Girl book in the series. It was short, sweet, and to the point. It had new characters, juicy information, and of course, your favorite couple! ;) Can't wait to read the next book.

Honestly this series isn’t great and so far this book has been the worst one. They’re incredibly homophobic and there’s always some sort of uncomfortable pedophilia type shit going on that’s NEVER shown as a bad thing, and this one in particular was super uncomfortable and just throwing things in randomly. I’m going to finish the series, but I would never recommend these to a child to read & honestly it’s gross they were ever marketed to children & I don’t even care how lax things were ‘back then’. Crazy to think they based a tv show of these that was a hit & how many young girls went and read these books and had their minds warped to accept the shit that happens in them as normal.

3/ Serena can't possibly be in love with Nate the whole time! It is absurd! Love triangles.....ughhh

This is the tenth book in the Gossip Girl book series. Blair and Nate reunite just as Serena realizes she's in love with him. Dan starts an experimental literary salon and thinks he's gay after making out with his male co-worker. Every scene that teases that Blair and Serena have romantic chemistry drives me insane because I wish the author had the balls to just make them fall in love with each other and milk that storyline for everything it’s got, it would be infinitely more interesting than any of the storylines we’ve had so far. I’m beyond over the love triangle with Nate, a living cardboard cutout of a character. When I said I wanted more bisexual characters and representation, I wasn’t expecting Dan Humphrey. Dan exploring his sexuality as a storyline is the most interesting his character has been in the entire book series. I liked the idea of Dan’s character exploring the pretentious tortured artist archetype, but his character in the books has never been compelling until now, which is a shame since we’re already nearing the end of the entire book series. The small mentions of Jenny has made me curious about what she’s been up to in her spin-off book series. Vanessa’s character is interesting but she’s never been given interesting storylines, and she deserves more than to still be having feelings for Dan in the tenth book. I wish Erik was a main character in these books, I like this version of the character. I would have loved seeing Vanessa become a prolific indie filmmaker, or at least see more of her working her way through the film industry, which was explored in the previous book but wasn’t done in any interesting way. This book was far more interesting than the last few books, but I can admit that I mostly like it because it was gayer than most books in the series.

Funny adventures, a revealling Serena and a kind of happy ending. The only thing I don't like about this book is Serena. Don't get me wrong: it's just that she decides to confess her huge love when someone else -her so called best friend- has it. I don't think it's fair.
