I generally don't read legal thrillers, much less sport-themed books written by authors who usually write legal thrillers, but Bleachers was wonderful. John Grisham knows how to create interesting characters and how to tell a story.... this is exactly the kind of book that makes me appreciate talented authors.

I loved this book and the story of Neely who comes back to his small town and revisits the ghosts of his Glory Days where he became a football star. The story centers around Neely and the town's reaction to the former football coach who is on his deathbed. The story was very engaging and I found it hard to put this book down. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because i would have liked to see and Epilogue as he promised to return to the small town in one year. Otherwise great read and highly recommended.

It was a quick read, but IMHO, this is geared for football fans.

This was an ok little book for a quick read but I have to admit I probably wouldn't read it again. Any fans of football will probably like it though!
