CUPID'S COWBOY is a short novella style read and book four in the Cowboy Way series. This is actually my first read from author Becky McGraw!

Jase is a country singing cowboy, working three jobs to make ends meet before his big break. Leigh is a music executive looking for her next superstar in order to show her father that she's good enough to work for him. When they meet, it's LUST at first sight!

The book is written pretty well. It's sexy and sweet but also fast paced. I adored the first half of the story and the direction it was going in. It had a few fun moments, a few sexy scenes and I liked both Jase and Leigh well enough. Unfortunately, by the middle of the story, I was pretty frustrated with Leigh's indecisiveness. And Jase lost his appeal with some of the jackass moves that seemed to contradict his initial charming impression for me!

Even though I didn't love this particular story, I DID like the author's overall style and brand of writing. I wouldn't mind reading more of Ms. McGraw's work and perhaps finding a book that I'll enjoy more! Told from dual POVs with a happy ending. I received, read and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This is book 4 in the Cowboy Way series and it features Leigh and Jase . I love the story line but I did not fall in love with the characters. The story line felt like it was on fast-forward the whole time. Jase was great except when he got mad at Leigh. His temper was a little out of control and I thought, just for a minute, that maybe he was going to be too rough with her. I also did not like the awful way Leo treated Leigh. He was supposed to be her father but evidently he didn’t know how to do that. Even Bobby was a little scandalous leaving the mic on. This was a super fast paced cowboy romance with a fabulous epilogue that had steam rising from my e-reader.
