I had a lot of issues with the first book so I was very concerned about having to read it again, essentially, even knowing it would be from Cas's perspective. However, this book was incredibly well done and I enjoyed his perspective so much more, especially knowing what we know of their future. 

I'm also glad that we did get some follow up to the previous book, so there was some new information to go along with the memories from the first book. Instead of being bored, I was hooked the whole book and am incredibly eager to know what happens next.

I'm only giving 3.5⭐️ but I still loved this book. It is basically a retelling of books 1 & 2 but from his POV and with a few new things thrown in. It was fast paced only because you have already basically read it. But that doesn't mean it wasn't a fun read. I always enjoying seeing the alternate POV to get a better understanding of characters which we got. Obsessed with this world and these characters and still loving the tandem read between both series!

Was this simply a money grab and place holder? Yes. Did I love it anyways? Pretty much. I figured this would be the perfect thing to get me out of a reading slump because it was both an old and new book. It took a bit for me to get into but the story dragged me back in all over again. Might just read FBAA next to see whose POV I like more.
