Gonna go informal because eh, decent thriller read, little confusing, very short, I like the bond of Reece and Shanahan. I wish things weren't so convenient for the deputies. Also wished Hawk had more story to him, I like the idea of a spy buster working for the CIA being a spy himself.

Thank you, Paul Knox, for a complementary copy of the audiobook. My review is voluntary and reflects my own opinion.

This was a fun and quick read and great introduction to a series. The narrator was great, I loved the story, and I liked the characters. Jessie's Mr. Perfect seemed a bit unreal or at least amateur-like, but other than that, I had no issues with the book. It will be interesting to see where Reece is going from here.
