This spin-off was not as good as the It-Girl, I expected it to be just as fun and nice as Gisspi Girl and It-Girl ~maybe even nicer~ but it wasn't. The story of 1 of the carlyle sisters was quite boring (I don't know the names anymore, I read them a long time ago, but I mean the hippie-Carlyle sister ;) ) jup this book series was quite a let-down :(

Enjoyed it very much . I considered it suitable for light reading series. Laughed at parts and got annoyed at other's but overall found the idea of triplets in same place lead different lives good to follow. Didn't read the first season of gossip girl so can't compare but hopefully I will enjoy it to .

The characters seem way too similar to Gossip Girl characters. I had a hard time keeping them straight because all I kept thinking of was the original GG characters. I don't think I'll continue with this series at this time.

Entertaining, but not as much as the others. The original characters are crazy and fun, but the new ones are a bit dull.

emotional funny medium-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Strong character development? No
  • Loveable characters? Yes
  • Diverse cast of characters? No
  • Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

the Bear library lists this as "fun fiction." I have to show my age but it was complete trash. I remain fervent that no book should ever be banned but I will never encourage any girl I know to read this.

I didn't like this book nearly as much as the original Gossip Girl series, nor as much as the "It Girl" spin off, but I liked it well enough. I'm interested to see where the series goes and if there's any of the old GG characters making an appearance.

This was pretty similar to the main Gossip Girl series- all scandal and rich kid drama, but I think I was slightly more into it because these are new characters, whereas I already had expectations about the GG characters from watching the show first.
