Gorgeous book, spun around beautifully told Welsh folklore. Loveable characters and moving emotional journey. I also loved the portrayal of disability- it felt so real and one of the best portrayals I’ve read in fantasy/YA- actually resting and being in pain and it not being glorified was amazing to see.

OH MY GOSH I DIDN'T KNOW THIS WAS A WELSH TALE WHY DIDN'T ANYONE TELL ME!!!

Even if you take away the fact that this was set in WALES is it still such a good book. It was just so lovely, at times I forgot it was a book about zombies!

Highly recommend if you like a strong female lead, spooky vibes and just the right amount of romance!
