Mesmo sem história tão forte como a do Batman do Snyder, ou a pujança dos textos do Azzarello aliada ao traço único de Chiang, a arte de J.H. Williams III compensa todos os eventuais «defeitos» narrativos.
Um dos grandes New 52.

Beautifully done, both individual images and two-page spreads. Compelling story line and characters, I especially liked the interactions with Batman. Manages to hint at things without being obscure, which is sometimes a problem with comics.

This was pretty cool, but it was often hard to follow. The art was great, but sometimes very cluttered and difficult to discern. I'll probably finish the series. I hope the other ones are better.

Beautiful art and compelling story. One of the best Bat books to come out of New 52.

Read this book. I am convinced that this will be one of the best recurring titles of our time.

Great artwork. Great story. Great characters. This was recommended to me by a person in the game jam group and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to reading the next volume in the series.

I wanted to like this more because I like Kate Kane but the story is pretty bland.

Not sure if I knew that Batwoman, Kane, was a lesbian, but I like the way the writers choose to tell her story. The special appearance by Batman is an added bonus as well. This book got the green light because of the art though. Few artists are putting together layouts like these, pushing the boundaries.

man this is one of those books i feel vaguely guilty about not being more into

like the art is beautiful! i could look at some of these pages for ages!

but also the style experimentation can make it hard to follow. clearer writing would help with that but alas poor yorick, tis not available. i have a decent idea of what the plot is but not enough of one to really care

plus the characters don't have enough heart for me, i don't know how you'd fix it but i never really got too invested in them

so yeah. the art really is pretty though

Thank the comic gods for a powerful, confident lesbian Batwoman! All gush reading through the series; art, writing, storyline all on point. My only wish is that this existed decades ago- keep doing good work <3
