A nice Christmas miracle book. While the interconnected stories had nice ending, it felt like a bit of a slog to get there, and I wasn't emotionally invested in many of the characters.

I guess I just am a sucker for books about bookstores. This was also great! Definitely a bit sadder, but really leaned into the power and importance of books to unite us in our humanity. And that was really fun! I enjoyed the setting and all the characters a lot.

I'm honestly a bit sad this book is over, because I would have liked to stay a little longer. Endearing characters, heartwarming stories of generosity and kindness, heartfelt emotions - I almost cried at a couple points in the book because of how deeply I felt for the characters in their grief and their joy. It left me feeling satisfied and grateful. An ode to the magic and power of books to connect us and carry us through hard times. I absolutely loved it.

3.5 ⭐s. This definitely gave what needed to be given. Super cute holiday story with great mental health commentary and a bookstore setting. Docked a half star for fatphobia and diet culture throughout.
