Lots of info, way more sarcasm. The constant snark made it very easy to read, especially since this was my second podcasting book so we covered some of the same territory. I like that they weren't afraid to get a little techie and even name what products they personally use

I thought this was a great primer on podcasting! I am not interested in having my own podcast but I am a huge McElroy empire fan, and I still thoroughly enjoyed this. I did the audiobook version, and I would recommend that since it's basically like an extra long MBMBaM episode with them sharing their expertise. I obviously knew they were good at what they do, but it gives you a whole new perspective to hear them basically teach it. And the addition of Sydnee, Teresa, and Rachel was awesome.

If you *are* looking to make your own pod, this would be really helpful - they cover everything and give great simple explanations and recommendations.

I became a die hard, dedicated McElroy fan in 2018. I eased in with The Adventure Zone and before too long it was All McElroy, All the Time. When I met my partner in 2020, I introduced him to the McElroys and, in endless support of my idols and my way of life, he became a McElroy fan, too. This book was a gift from him for Valentine's Day 2021 (along with Sawbones and the first 3 TAZ graphic novels!!) and while I didn't have a podcast then, I was excited to support my favorite boys. Fast forward to 2022, when one of my friends and I said "hey, what if we started a podcast??" and I promptly cracked this book open for some soul soothing advice from my favorite brothers. I've learned a lot from just diving into making a podcast, but I've had so much support and backing from the McElroys in the form of this book (don't get it twisted, they AREN'T experts, though

If there is anyone I'd trust to write a book about starting a podcast, it's the McElroy Brothers. This is a great starter guide for anyone looking to start their own podcast. It's detailed enough without being totally overwhelming. The brothers never make you feel like starting your own podcast is completely out of reach and offer tips on how to grow your show over time. Despite being told for years that their advice should never be followed, there's no better folks to take podcasting advice from.
