I can’t help but love this series! At times I wonder if it’s pushing it with the fact that it’s romanticising the idea of an incubus (a demon who feeds off sexual energy) but then I think, we’ll what’s the difference from this and romanticising vampires which I enjoyed, so then I gave myself permission to fully accept it and admit that I bloody love this story 😂 Again it’s not quite a 5 star because some of the ‘spice’ just isn’t to my taste but I don’t really have anything to compare it to book-wise other than 50 Shades which is pure and utter filth (which I did not read for enjoyment btw, only purely out of curiosity as to wth everyone was going on about lol) and this is DEFINITELY NOT THAT so perhaps it’s actually quite mild compared to other books haha. I’ve not read Sarah J Maas yet and I hear her books are spicy so I’m eager to read and compare when the time comes haha. 

Despite not being 100% on board with the spice within this book, I just couldn’t stop reading it and it’s not bombarding you either which I appreciate. There’s definitely more story than sexy times haha. 

I am loving the world and characters that have been built and continuously developing. There’s so many varieties of mythical/magical creatures/fae it’s exciting and never dull! I love how Zayne and Talia’s characters have evolved in this book including Biscuit. I can’t wait to read the next instalment.
