I wasn’t sure about this book going into it, specifically the bodyguard+movie star trope(I guess idk), but I’m so glad I read it. I was very pleasantly surprised. It was sweet, funny and heartwarming with just the right amount of “drama.” This could be a hallmark movie in my opinion and I personally love books like that! If you’re looking for something cute and easy to read, look no further.

Pure joy, with heart and humor. The characters have depth and real humanity, I enjoyed getting a glimpse into the executive protection business as well as the upside and downside of fame.

If this book would have ended sooner, I would have rated it higher. I think the *perfect* ending for me would have been Jack picking Hannah and then finally asking her out on a date. The extra scene of the other stalker was too Miss Congeniality for me and seemed to drag it on to wrap it up in a nice bow. That’s just my humble opinion though.

Another home run from Katherine Center. I enjoy novels with Hallmark movie vibes, but I also need some depth to my stories. She strikes that perfect balance of romance and true plot.
There were loads of great aphorisms in this novel also. It was a great read. One I would read again.
