This was almost a 5!! The ending is what changed my rating. The book was super atmospheric! I felt like I was in a haunted house! I like the characters and plot. I just thought the ending could've been better.

Pulled in from the start, enjoyed the various twists and turns, and didn't anticipate that ending.
I did not find it scary, but the plot and characters were compelling and interesting.

Another enjoyable Darcy Coates book. I loved the mixed personalities of all the characters and this one definitely kept me on my toes a bit more because there was more mystery behind a couple of the characters.

A good, quick haunting story! Nothing groundbreaking, passable writing, but very readable and an enjoyable little supernatural mystery.

This is one of my favorite Darcy Coats books!! It was creepy with a mystery and some twists in it as well. I had so much fun reading this “haunted house” story!
