The story was really cute. JJ 'like' kinda annoyed me at times. See what I did there? Phillip is perfect. The vows were probably my favorite part of the book.

Huh. So apparently I'd read this book back in 2012 and rated it 5 stars. I just finished reading it again, and can honestly say I have absolutely no recollection about ever having read it before. I'm actually kinda shocked. Also, this book is most definitely NOT a 5 stars read.

Book 1 is amazing, adorable and charming. This one was quite annoying and repetitive. I didn't much like it. Then again, making a WHOLE ASS BOOK only about planning a wedding? How can you avoid it getting repetitive? It's impossible. I had to make a conscious effort to finish it, which is sad considering how much I enjoyed the first one. The characters that I loved so much in book 1 were now childish and irritating. I don't know what happened. I want to read book 3 but I'm worried it's just gonna be more of this. Choices, choices...

Super cute second part to That Boy. At times, you want to shake some sense into JJ. I'm definitely listening to the That Baby!

Head to StayBlu Reads to enter to win a SIGNED copy of That Boy

JJ's now wearing That Boy's ring. On their first date, he proposed she accepted, he threw her a surprise engagement party, she gave him back the ring, told him she wouldn't marry him, then got on stage, and changed her mind. This sums of JJ to a T.

To say That Girl lives in her head, would be an understatement and now we get to watch her plan a wedding. To her best friend, Phillip, who is That Boy. She expects to be engaged for a good long while, but his family has other expectations, and the begin to push. She has a to pick a wedding theme. Find a dress. A place to live. The more she freaks, the most inside her head she goes.

Whenever I read a Jillian Dodd book, I always feel like I am running, and That Wedding had me in an all out race. I was running for a gold metal, eating up the pavement under my feet. Every word I read made me want to read the next that much quicker.

It's so funny... if you do nothing else, read the dang book for two scenes..
The STD Scene:

Text from Mrs Mac (Phillips Mom) to JJ
"You REALLY need to do something about your STDs and fast!"

and Who Counts:

"The guy you meet at the bar and though was hot. But when you sobered up, you realize he wasn't. Like not at all. I don't think you'd count him."

A couple of the funniest scene's I've ever read. Bottom line, just read this book!!!

jadyn needs grief counseling and phillip is to optimistic he needs a back bone and to be real with her. this is a really quick relationship i hate it so much like first date your engaged and bot getting married in 90 days like bffr.  also you can’t solve every problem with sex that’s not real and shouldn’t be real
