I had high hopes for this book as the premise sounded intriguing. My feelings for this book ebbed and flowed. There were certain parts I really enjoyed but at a certain point in the book it just started to feel as if everything was being tied up in a neat little bow which bothered me. The main character goes in and out of being bold and being passive but without too much rhyme or reason in my view.

I wanted a cute, light, summer themed read that wasn't your typical story, and Traveling Light hit the spot!

I loved all the characters! Throughout the book, I honestly felt like I was there, sitting in the backseat next to Cas, with Al and Blossom chatting in the front. Great, great read!!!

Traveling Light along with [b:Just Us Women|1000212|Just Us Women|Jeannette Franklin Caines|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1347366688s/1000212.jpg|3342597]Just Us Women by Jeannette Franklin Caines, shows that there is room for women in the fictional road narrative space, one where adventures can be had without a certainty of consequences.

Beautiful book, thoroughly enjoyed the story and the connections between characters! Was a little disappointed by the anti-climatic ending, but I really did love this book! Would recommend!
