I've been interested gy the intersection between love and violence for a while now, so this was a very interesting read. Unfortunatelly, it became extremely tedious in the last 70 or so pages. Would probably have liked it better if the plot moved a bit faster

Crash randomly introduces elements of pedophilia for seemingly no reason. Maybe Ballard intended to shock the reader further, but personally it just felt wholly unnecessary and turned me off. To much eroticism for me, as well.
