Indulging in Stephen Fry's sense of humour is one of life's great joys.
This retelling was entertaining and vibrant but also structured and concise, which is difficult to achieve when compiling millennia-old myths that conflict and entangle and contradict each other. I will forever be grateful to Fry for making Greek mythology easily accessible in the 21st century.

Most people know a Greek myth or two, whether fully or just in name. I certainly know a few but while they've always fascinated me I've never found a good retelling. Mythis was exactly that, a lively, entertaining and interesting telling of the Greek myths.
It was funny but rich with detail, it was surprisingly easy to follow and to keep track of stories and characters and was genuinely enjoyable to read.

I think the book would have worked better than the audiobook, the names got very muddled for me and it sounded a bit like a 15 hour lecture
I don’t think I’ll read the others by I do have the next 2 books so idk
