A very interesting memoir. One thing I've found across all the memoirs I've read so far this year is their troubles with alcohol and drug use and I see just how much it escalates when these people are queer. I think it shows how important it is to have resources for those dealing with addiction and re ources for queer people.

I love Against Me! and I have been meaning to read LJG’s book.   Laura didn’t hold back and I couldn’t imagine a more in-depth look at one person’s journey to transition.  Was it a tough read?  Yes.  Did I want to cry at times?  Absolutely.

Against Me! Is one of my favourite bands, so I was deeply excited to read Laura Jane Grace's biography. It was everything I hoped that it would be. This book is an honest, raw, deeply vulnerable telling of her life and musical journey. It made me laugh, cry and fall in more with Laura's music as I learned its backstories. I feel really honoured as a reader that Laura chose to share her story with such beautiful honest.
