I know it's practically a cliche these days for every vaguely artsy twenty something to day they love Tom Robbins, but I LOVE TOM ROBBINS! Still Life with Woodpecker is a book made to be quoted. “It’s never too late to have a happy childhood”

“Humanity has advanced, when it has advanced, not because it has been sober, responsible, and cautious, but because it has been playful, rebellious, and immature.”

It was ok. Really weird but entertaining. Tom Robbins definitely has a way with words, they just weren't the right ones for me. Favorite line: "This stuff's so fine Julius Caesar called for it with his dying breath. 'A toot, Brutus,' is what he said."
