Push is a brilliant book about not letting your past stop you from discovering who you could be in the future and allowing others to help you become your best self.

I really appreciate the style this is written in, you could really see Precious struggling to learn and develop her language skills. Overall a quick and thoughtful read.

This was bleak as hell and deeply disturbing in places, and Precious is a very real, very flawed character, but by god, if I wasn't rooting for her in every step she took to rise above her horrendous circumstances.
