There aren't any words to describe how amazingly well-written this book is and how unbelievable this story is. It's truly a heart-felt book that left me not only emotional but overwhelmingly speechless. I can't emphasis enough how strongly I suggest reading this book. Michael Morpurgo has done a beautiful job with this book and created incredible characters.

Although this is a children's book, it's still totally worth reading however old you are. It's a simple, thin book that is really emotive, and told through the POV of a war horse it really gives a different perspective on war.

There's nothing bad I can say about this book, it's one of my favorites and will always have a special place in my heart. It's been a WHILE since I last read it, so I just took it off the shelf and started hehe

I loved this book. This book is the story of a horse and his travels as a war horse during WWI. The book is written in the horse's point of view and begins when he is just a calf and follows him throughout his life.
I read this in a few short hours - I couldn't put it down because I wanted to see where he would end up next.
