Pray you never face a good man. He'll kill you with hardly a word.

There is no way I can describe how much these characters mean to me. This book was not better than the first one, in my mind, but it was much darker, more action-packed and more philosophical, and dealt with so many things in a way that surprised and delighted me. All in all, these books bring me immense happiness and comfort in so many ways I did not expect (but match the comfort Lord of the Rings brings me), and I am here for it.
