I really liked the romance and the steamy scenes overall in this, and thought the plot was interesting but there were times the romance/relationship felt a little rushed (2months passing with barely a mention) and a little superficial sometimes.
I wanted more scene setting and more details and though I appreciate that the book is short & sweet and isn’t over done, I think it would have benefited from some elements being fleshed out a bit more.

Overall an enjoyable read and I’ll definitely read this author again, I just wanted a little more at times.

Conceptually, I loved this. Frankie was a great character (even if her initials were FUCK). I think I enjoyed this more for the smut and the insight into accessibility - besides Frankie and the occasional appearance of a secondary character, I didn't love Jay at all. He reminded me a lot of a frat boy type of guy, which wasn't what I was expecting. I also wasn't a huge fan of the writing style, it had me cringing in some places and wanting to put the book down. It's short, which made it easier to get through I suppose!

TWs: ableism, cheating (past), ref to spinal cancer, chronic illness, alcoholism, alcohol consumption, brief mentions of sexual trauma, graphic descriptions of BDSM (rope play and binding), vomiting, references to foster care

Tropes/rep/themes: disabled fmc, queer sc, disabled scs, nicknames (good girl, rainbow), podcast, accessible sex

I wanted to enjoy this more than I did. I feel like it was a bit rushed and I wasn't always a fan of the way the main character handled getting together. It was a really fun premise and I definitely did enjoy it overall

This was cute! It was a bit strange because of the…. Balance of cutesy and lovey vs. sexy and erotic…. It’s felt like it wanted to be both but then it all felt rushed? There weren’t enough scenes describing WHY they fell in love (in my opinion) and although I loved that she is a doctor, I love the podcast concept, I love the disability rep, I loved the HEA, I loved the emotionally mature man comment she made, I loved that the cheater had grown too, and I loved the consent talk and all the bondage deliciousness. I really feel like this book had all the right bits but it was too short. That really my biggest flaw with this book. That if it had been longer everything could’ve been expanded on more and therefore more fleshed out. But I still enjoyed it.
