You know when you ready a Queer romance, and it's so well written that you don't even think about pronouns or different types of relationships? Knot My Type is an extremely well written Disability romance. There are many disabilities represented, and they are just part of who that person is. It is so refreshing!!!!!
Things I am here for:
Frankie is a strong, colorful, spectacular leading lady!
Jay realizing that he is not broken!
Disability representation
Accessible Kink
No Kink Shaming
Jay is so silly and fun!
Open communication and consent during all sexual activities
Yard Dinos! Where can I get some?
This is for the #ReadDisabled2024 prompt Book with a Visibly Disabled Character on the Cover
P.S. I can confirm that there are no werewolves in this book.

I love how informative and uplifting this book was! The podcast was one of my favorite aspects.
"Rainbow" is probably the cutest nickname I've ever heard.

As a fellow chronic illness survivor (no, I do not like the term "warrior") and disabled woman this just felt good. Her disability was never the issue of the story. It was just as much a part of her in the story as her doctor's degree. It's refreshing after seeing all these movies and books about this "poor disabled woman/guy" struggling with everything and then finding the only good thing in their lives in the form of a love interest. Definitely a recommendation for anyone looking for a feel-good, spicy(!!), inclusive romance! ^^

I loved Frankie's openness and efforts to talk things through as openly and honestly with Jay from day one. Jay took her refreshing candor in stride and did his best to match her, and pretty darn well for someone with as rocky an emotional past as he had (from growing up in the foster system to the ex who absolutely gutted him). I appreciated Frankie's friends, all of whom are truly ride-or-die for each other in the best of ways. I look forward to reading their books in the rest of the All Access series.
Overall, as a non-disabled reader, the focus on Frankie's capabilities as a woman in a wheelchair was enlightening and just really cool to read. The accessible adaptations to the things I take for granted as an able-bodied person were interesting and never really focused on in a way that fetishized or glamourized her life in a wheelchair, but instead just told it like it is and the things that make up her everyday life. And I appreciated when she called Jay out for his ableist thinking, which also called me out as a reader to rethink my assumptions!

I wanted more scene setting and more details and though I appreciate that the book is short & sweet and isn’t over done, I think it would have benefited from some elements being fleshed out a bit more.
Overall an enjoyable read and I’ll definitely read this author again, I just wanted a little more at times.
