Part golden age mystery, part loopy spy thriller, completely enjoyable.

Whilst I had a sustained interest in Ianthe Jerrold's There May Be Danger, it paled in comparison with a lot of crime fiction which I have read to date. The twists which Jerrold wove into her plot worked well, but it was not as well written as I seem to expect of fiction of this era. Whilst I did enjoy the novel on the whole, I can't say that I'm overly eager to seek out any more of the author's books.
