audiobook note: Susan Duerden and Robin Sachs are absolutely delicious readers. I fully attribute a portion of my patience and good will with this book to their narration.

Well this was a disappointment. I just found it very boring. A review I read said they didn't like it but fans of Fantasy genres would enjoy it more and I cannot agree. The story was all over the place.

What a load of tripe. One of the most tedious books I ever read. Deffo the worst of this year. It will be hard for a book to be worse.

Not for me this one. There were parts I wasn’t opposed to but overall the story just didn’t get to me. Struggled to get through it but I’d already invested so much time so had to finish it.
