At first I liked this more than the first novel, it was an easier, quicker read, the story's flow worked better for me, then towards the end it started slowing down a bit. I enjoyed both of them very much and I definitely will get back to them at some point.

The plot is like a mix of virgin suicides meet gossip girl meet suddenly supernatural, and to be honest, I need to drag myself to read the first half of the book. Besides the plot, Family of Liars talks a lot about grief and sisterhood which I can relate a bit too as a first born daughter as well.
