I could have given this 4 stars... equally, It could have been 2. An odd book with many, many odd conversations, culminating in an odd finish. I would chance another by this author but the translation would have to improve. (My apologies if it is, in fact, Edwardson)

So I got to page 197 and realized that I didn't care about Winter, Angela, the other cop's marriage, whether Winter did anything with the girl in Spain, or anything.

My review might be skewed because the way it was printed in e-book was difficult to follow - there were often no breaks between POVs, and I struggled to differentiate between characters, particularly since the author was trying to make me question which of 3-4 different suspects were the murderer. However, by the end I was fully invested and eager, so I give it 4 stars.

Like Henning Mankell, but with more sentence fragments.
