Breathtaking story containing a lot of interesting thoughts about the life at the bottom of the deepest seas and descriptions of the undersea fauna and flora. To my taste there were sometimes too much descriptions of species of sea animals and plants.

I really enjoyed rereading this. It was one of the first real chapter books I read as a kid so as an adult it bought back so many memories.
