The best part about this book is that Sanura and Assefa's relationship is developing at a believable pace and that no matter how hard those meddling Gods try, they'll always come out on top <3

Only one book left :(

Liked-
*The Egyptian mythology
*The relationship between the characters and their ups and downs and how they worked through their issues
*The depth of the characters
*Their chemistry
*No cheating
*No love triangle

Disliked-
*The side stories where the main characters weren't present were kind of dragging.

Good

So since this is book 2 of a trilogy, know that you have to read book 1. This story is a continuation of the previous book. So having read book 1, I didn't think so much detail would be in this one. It's not enough that you can get out of reading book 1, but it's a lot. I thought so much detail in book 1 was to set up the character world, but I see that's just the particular style of this writer. Unfortunately it didn't always work for me and I found myself skimming often. I'm still invested in the story and plan to read book 3. Who is the water witch of legend?!
