Hey, you had me at Poop. Give me a good poop book, and I'll probably love it, and so will kids.
This is a great book for kids to learn about tracking animals by their poop. Cute story, well laid out, and very informative.
My only caveat on this book is that a lot of the animals (and all of the birds), or specific to the Eastern Part of the United States. While you can find Norwegian Rats all over the US, as well, I'm sure, in parts of Canada, you won't find all of the animals listed.
Apparently this is part of a series of books which talk about poop (scat) found in areas around the US, such as Yosemite, The Cascades, The Black Hills and Death Valley.
Very well done, for young readers, and with information in the back about the tracks and stuff like that.
