This book wasn't for me and that's okay. I highly recommend checking out the content warnings before embarking on this book as it has the potential to be triggers ahoy.

Omg I really loved this. It was spooky and creepy, but I also feel in love with the characters and felt for them. It made me emotional at one point. Also there’s a bit of a romance and I ate it up, I loved it. This was such an interesting concept and so creepy and intriguing. I didn’t read the comparison and as I was reading I was like it’s like Titanic but in space and everyone losing it. I enjoyed reading this so much that I wanted to read it but I didn’t want it to end and I didn’t want anything to happen to the characters so I would post pone reading it. I’m so happy I read this and loved it.

Decently spooky book with an interesting twist and consistent throughout. I liked that this didn’t have the usual drop off in believability 3/4 through that so many horror novels have. The plot was steady and holds up. I found Claire’s character to be very irritating, however, and the “I’m broken and dangerous” schtick to be tiresome. Ultimately satisfied with this read, though.

The best way to describe this book is picture the titanic but in space and that it wasn't found for 20 years with no one knowing what happened to it. Now its been found by a group of people who decide to check it out before returning to earth and their next job assignment.

I found the book was more mystery (trying to figure out what happened to the ship and its passengers) then horror, but it definitely has a lot of spooky horror/thriller elements it really depends on what scares you.
There are a few trigger warnings that I have added to the end of this review for anyone concerned.

Overall i liked the atmosphere and the concept, the first half of the book of exploring the ship trying to figure out what happened was amazing i would have given the book 4 stars easily (not 5 because i found some of the characters very oblivious). What brought down my rating was the second half. this was because i felt like we missed a whole part of the book.
(spoilers - the narrator of the book has memory loss -so there is a time skip in the story she is telling - i understand this was apart of the plot her trying to figure out what happened in that time , but we never get to see what really happened)

I would recommend the book if you like "ghost ships" in space

Trigger warnings: mention of suicide, attempted suicide, mental health, death, dead bodies, hallucinations
