Still conflicted about this series. Still can't quite give it up. It has a lot to offer, yet a lot to offend. Many will see that as a plus, but in truth those shock elements undercut the sharper messages and layered narrative.

Lying Cat only made a brief appearance in this volume. Humph.

These aliens go through recognisable family and work dramas. More parental issues, peer pressure at work, relationship troubles, drugs, kidnapping... and lots more. Still loving this fugitive family space opera even if it isn't my favourite volume... and new character Ghus seems adorable.

The partnership at the end is surprising - I totally didn't expect that and look forward to seeing how this element upsets the apple cart in future.

Another amazing addition to this series.
The cast, both new and old are compelling and intriguing.
The art, as always, is phenomenal.
And the plot lines are twisting in some really exciting directions.

I've honestly run out of things to say about Saga because it's consistently top notch quality with run of the mill nothing. It's easily my favorite comic of all time and I absolutely cannot wait for the next edition to come out. This series is on a roller coaster that only goes up.
