I thought the book was well done. Not only does it list items beginning with the letter, it also shows (for most letters) other items not listed, which allows kids and parents to find additional items to highlight their knowledge and understanding of the letter sounds. Yes, there is an apple in A (unlisted word) queen in Q (unlisted word) and zebra in Z, but no Cat in C, no Umbrella in U. Several fairly uncommon words used for the letters in this alphabet book. The illustrations are fun!

A wonderful change to the classic of "a is for apple, b is for ball, etc" and gives new words to kids to enjoy.
