A group of kids work under an older man to heal mythical creatures who seem like people but are just treated as animals, but someone's making the kids disappear. The art style is absolutely a treat to look at, but I was lukewarm on the story. The characters are underdeveloped, and their relationships are even less developed and the story tries so hard to make you care about those connections without putting in the building work.

Idk whether to give this a three or a four. The protagonist was unrelatable and the story was disjointed and a bit confusing but still pretty good. A lot of twists that I didn’t fully get and it was too short nor do I care for a part two. I did kind of enjoy the art not really the style of the characters

Sorceline is like a mix of Harry Potter and Fantastic beasts. I really enjoyed it and I can't wait for the next book to be translated.

Beautiful art, but the story was weak and overly confusing. It also felt like a LOT of Harry Potter ripoffs. This graphic novel has: young students in the woods at night hunting for unicorn blood with their professor, people being petrified and kids trying to solve the mystery of how it's happening, and an animal appearing as an omen of something bad to come.

Don't think I'll read the next volume.
