I loved Kate and Cal. And like how each their own way just trying your best for each other. I wasn’t as big of a fan of Dean. Something did not quite connect for me. I enjoyed majority of the story and how they got together, but they never fully clicked for me. I did find the epilogue hilarious

Dean needs therapy. Throughout this series I’ve felt the men have all needed a healthy dose of therapy, but Dean more than anyone else. If someone ever told me my kid was too much, I’d knife them and hide the body. No way would I ever take them back.
That all being said, good story and great spice.

Kate and Dean are the cutest! Almost as much as Dean and Cal are. This is a grumpy/sunshine trope and I liked that they guy was the sunshine. Also, daddy Tony comming in and having the big brother talk?! *swoon*

okaaaay so, i enjoyed this

the third act conflict was a little off, i mean i get it
but it all come and went way to fast

i really loved the kid in this book and the relationship between him and dean

i liked the epilogue!! it was super funny

i also loved that he called her katie

"I realize then I could fall. I could fall hard and probably never recover.
I also realize that after tonight, the chances of me not having fallen are slim.
and finally, I realize I’m not sure if I care" ✨

"kate’s still laughing when I pull her into me, kissing her, the kiss setting my entire world straight.
because all I need to keep me grounded is kate and cal hernandez.
and through the kiss, all I can think about is how I can’t wait to change their last name. both of them"

I could’ve done without the chapters from Cal’s POV just because it’s kind of out of place to have an 8 year olds thoughts (that sound suspiciously like an adults) sandwiched in between two ACTUAL adults, but this was cute.
I’m sick of third act breakups, but I know why they’re necessary.
