I have seen this movie but the book, obviously, was better. I loved the writing, the story telling, and Celie. We are reading this our June book club pick in honor of Pride Month! It was incredible and I’m so glad I finally got to experience the words.

I could not stop reading. I do believe this is now my all time favorite Pulitzer.
