The storyline is only worthy of 3-stars. Frances made zero thought-out decisions and acted on a whim throughout the whole book. I docked another star for the 10+ grammar errors: missing quotations and periods galore.

I liked it. I thought the characters were fun and I liked the witchiness of it.

Wasted potential, sadly. The beginning was great, but then things slowed down too much and overall I think the book was too long and streched out. I couldn't really connect with the characters, and the MC was just plain dumb most of the time. Also, New York City in 1911? Such a cool setting, but I feel like it wasn't given very much attention.

Wow. I really loved this book. And the worse part is that i hesitated a lot because of the mixed reviews.

Can we talk about how delulu Finn is?

A good story, with interesting characters. I felt like the character change after the plot twist was a bit out of the blue, but I guess that was kind of the point.
