This was a great story. I really enjoyed the inner dialogue the main characters had with themselves. It showed growth and vulnerability.

Lina, a singer who has dreams of going big and is struggling yet living and loving her life. Then a opportunity falls in her lap and she can’t refuse it.

“When I question myself, when I think I’m not good enough, it is partially because of him. I cannot let him pull me down again. He is too powerful.”

Calden pursuing his dreams of a music producer while being a single dad, seemingly tired of the dating life.

“While my intentions may have started out purely physical, sitting here across from her has reminded me that meaningful connections are worth the wait.“

The connection between Lina and Calden is there from the start. The chemistry is undeniable.

“At that moment, I realized that Lina has become more than just a singer on a stage. She has become a muse, a symbol of everything I’ve been searching for—a spark to reignite my creative fire and to remind me of the beauty that lies beyond the mundane.“

The beauty of their relationship flows flawlessly throughout the book. There is drama and when it happens it blows up. They get their HEA and I wouldn’t change it any other way!
