I have an inexplicable love for Nancy Drew but this one was a little on the meh side. Didn’t really find the villain to be very believable (although they never really are tbh) and the ending seemed overly convenient.

It was a good read! Simple and good to unwind with. I enjoyed trying to figure out the mystery as I read.

The best one so far, hands down. 4.5 stars rounding down. The mystery was complex and layered, there were several moments of excitement and danger. Best of all was the closing exchange between Nancy and her friends where they're talking about their beaus and one of them says sorry to Nancy because she doesn't have anyone. Nancy replies that it's totally fine for her because for now, her partner is mysteries. lol. What a great line for mid-twentieth century girls to hear! I loved it.

Well, this one was certainly much better than the first book. I enjoyed that it had a lot more action and there was a lot going on. A fun read.
