A short read that sets the scene well. When your cut off from the world thanks to the storm but not used to winter what do you do to make it through?

Really cute but not the best, it felt sped up to the end like she didn't want to do anything else

This was a cute little romance novella. It wasn’t too unbelievable, fast paced or had the characters moving too fast to be true… it was just right.
There was none of the steamy-ness I’ve come to expect with romance novellas which was a welcome change, as it just felt a lot more natural and how a romantic relationship actually starts. It was well written and I enjoyed the point of view coming from both characters.
A fantastic little quick read!

I appreciate that this story is just as sweet and cozy as promised, without any pointless tension or drama. I might have liked it a lot more if there was less instant physical attraction, and the heroine hadn't made a few poorly excused unwise decisions. (Yes, we know he's a great guy, but how do YOU know for sure this guy you just met is as kind as he seems on the surface?)

What an incredibly sweet little romance! Loved the snowstorm setting and James coming to help and make sure Ashley was safe. And who doesn’t love a cat named Mr. Kitty.

Definitely pair this book with a mug of hot chocolate, a fire and some snowy weather.

I'm not a fan of short stories, but this was cute. It would have been a higher rating if it was longer so it could have been fleshed out and had more interaction. Free ebook and free audiobook read by an AI on Google play (unknown if that continues to be free or if temporary).
